Verdict

SHALLOW HAL had been threatening to win before ploughing through the Ayr mud to land a well contested nursery. He's the type to improve again and can take care of Usain Boat. George Scott's charge won a Newmarket novices' contest in May but ran poorly at Redcar last month when returning from a break though may have been unsuited by the fast going. Rockshore has been racing in slightly better company and has shown there is a race to be won with him while Miss Sabina started out with a fair run at Ripon in May and was returning from a long break when well beaten at Catterick a couple of weeks ago.
