Verdict

Ingenuity and Lucky Lucky Man are both penalised for last year’s respective wins at Carlisle. The latter may improve for a recent reappearance but the advantage lies with PACIFIC FLEET on these terms as he drops back in distance having failed to see out the mile trip at Thirsk just two days ago. He gets the vote on only his third start for David O’Meara’s yard though Alhawdaj is a likely improver and Wondering Spirit, a half-brother to pattern race winners, makes most appeal of the newcomers.
