Verdict
Arizona John won this a year ago but didn't reappear until March. He had his favourite fast ground when scoring at Beverley last month and the going was softer when he ran respectably at Thirsk a couple of weeks ago. Sioux Chieftain is a progressive type though he's 14lb higher than his only victory a year ago. Wilhana was having her first start on Turf when just failing to catch Running Deer on soft ground at Windsor and this stiffer track should be a help as should Ross Atkinson's claim. Arthurs Secret bounced back to form in an amateurs race at Doncaster and he should be in the frame though the progressive ARAMIST looks the one to be on. He was suited by soft ground when landing a similar grade handicap at Thirsk and with the going expected to ease he looks another for the in-form Alan Swinbank.
