Milan Reef won in soft ground at Chepstow last month but was a long way behind runner-up Ventura Crest at Redcar last time. Hemingford has struggled off higher marks since winning at Hamilton in August while Gamesters Icon found one too good in a maiden race at Musselburgh recently and goes handicapping for the first time along with DANCE EMPEROR. The latter led for most of the way in heavy going over 7f at Salisbury before caught in the closing stages and this extra distance should suit Ed Walker’s charge on that evidence.
