Verdict

Robemaker had both Oceanway and Calaf behind when second at Chester last time. He's dropping down a grade here and it would be no surprise to see him go one better for a yard in flying form. However, EDMAAJ is just preferred given he's clearly at his best on soft ground as he proved when winning with plenty in hand at York last week. With this extra furlong likely to suit, David O'Meara's charge can go in again. Heddwyn was a promising three-year-old but not much has gone right since while Tamarrud produced a woeful effort on his comeback and Ripon winner Blades Lad makes more appeal back on soft going.
