Verdict
Everest could be the one to be on here ahead of Flighty Fellow, Penrith and Calcutta. The selection comes here in great heart, having followed up his Newmarket win with a very good victory in a valuable Newbury handicap. Much as he has been raised six pounds for that last success, his rider takes off three so he can still go well. Flighty Fellow is a course and distance winner who looks fairly weighted and should bag some money, while Calcutta might lack a little in consistency but certainly holds chances at his best from his current mark. Penrith is lightly raced and hails from the Mark Johnston team. He ran well at Ayr when second to Top Dirham, and a repeat of that type of effort puts him in the picture. Roskilde has not run for a year so is possibly one to watch on his return, which returns us to the selection, which is Everest, who can hit the hat-trick heights this afternoon.
