Verdict
Misplaced Fortune loves it here and was second to a progressive filly over track and trip last week. Poyle Vinnie won over this trip and over 5f here last month while Al Khan could easily bounce back from a below-par showing at Chester though, like last year's winner Evanescent, he seems better over an extra furlong nowadays. Kommander Kirkup is closely matched with Pennine Warrior on Ripon form last month and has been disappointing on the whole. SUNRAIDER was biting off more than he could chew in a premier handicap at the Curragh last time but had finished ahead of Dark Castle when third here in July. Paul Midgley's charge isn't badly treated on that effort and could be a bit of value today.
