        Verdict

        Desert Hunter is slowly recapturing his form and finished ahead of Musselburgh winner Ra Junior and Aussie Blue at Carlisle two weeks ago, though races from out of the handicap proper here. Royal Reverie got found out in much better company at Newbury last time but can't be ignored in this grade, while Classic Descent won at Ripon 11 days ago. But this may rest between hat-trick seekers Regimental and UNKNOWN REBEL, with the latter getting the nod. Both are progressive but Kevin Ryan's charge just has the better form and his previous experience over C&D just swings things his way.
