    Verdict

Men Don't Cry has only stepped out of Class 6 handicaps once before and struggled. He's won a couple of minor events recently but the assessor could have got to grips with him even though Megan Carberry has been booked to use her claim. El Bravo had to dig deep to land a lady amateurs' race here last month and a 3lb rise may prove just too much but Merchant Of Medici is generally thereabouts at this sort of level and Kevin Stott's claim is a bonus. The ex-French Flying Cape has yet to win a race but went close at Catterick and this doesn't look much tougher. AMAZING BLUE SKY has won 10 races in a long career and with Paul Hanagan booked and fast ground a must he's taken to gain victory number eleven for the in-form Ruth Carr.
