In depth

Verdict

Paul Nicholls' French recruit Empire Levant couldn't cope with Sire De Grugy in a Grade 2 at Kempton in February but will be better suited by today's ground and is an obvious threat to all. Rigidity has been a little disappointing since his hurdling debut victory at Gowran though his best form on the Flat was on similar going to today's. STREET ENTERTAINER overcame numerous minor mistakes to gain an impressive victory at Chepstow last month and with AP McCoy in the saddle and jumping problems likely to have been ironed out he can take this for David Pipe. First In The Queue never got competitive in a Grade 2 at Aintree after scoring at Huntingdon and will need to do much better while Kalann's maiden success at Cork doesn't look quite good enough for this.
