ERIC BLOODAXE began with two bumper victories back in 2019 but was off for over a year before a very good run behind Kilcruit in the championship bumper here in April. He looks a cracking recruit to hurdling and may have too much quality for Chinx Of Light, a debut second to Panda Boy here in March though the winner didn't do much for the form later. Fattan had been rousted along but was beginning to stay on when unseating his rider at the last at Listowel and the longer trip is in his favour. Winning point-to-pointer Quantum Realm showed promise in bumpers and is one to keep an eye on as he makes his hurdling bow.
