Verdict
Fammi Sognare won a couple of races on the Flat this summer and could make a hurdler while Purple Land, who proved very disappointing for Jim Bolger, may be woken up by a change of surroundings and is an interesting newcomer. Days Ahead has done most things right since turning to hurdling and his quick jumping will always stand him in good stead though the concession of 3lb to ACCIDENTAL OUTLAW may prove too much to handle. Charles O'Brien's charge put the experience of a fair Clonmel debut to good use when comfortably scoring over this C&D a month ago and looks capable of further progress. Silas Mariner was behind Days Ahead at Gowran but took advantage of very heavy ground at Cork subsequently and conditions will be in his favour here.
