Verdict

Top point-to-point trainer Jonathan Sweeney doesn't have many runners under Rules but usually makes it count. LIGHTHOUSE WARRIER, a winner between the flags and of a bumper here in May 2017, was having his first start for a year when a long way second to Come To Me at Cork last month but will have found 2m on the short side and the step-up is certain to suit. He just gets the vote over Dallas Des Pictons, a dual bumper winner in France and a very good second to City Island at Leopardstown on St Stephen's Day. He'll also be suited by the extra while Let The Heirs Walk made a bold bid to make all over this trip on the same track and only faded close home. The Red Menace, another dual bumper winner, wasn't beaten far in that latter event and is gradually finding his feet as is Baily Gorse, who finished just in front of him and would be suited by a very strong gallop.
