Winning bumper and hurdler Sempo has raced in strong company over fences but has only got as far as the first in two of his last three starts. His stable companion DUC D'ALLIER easily landed a Clonmel maiden hurdle back in 2018 but wasn't seen again until last month when making an impressive chasing debut at Fairyhouse. He should go on from there though Pakens Rock has been racing in much stronger company than this since completing a Galway double in October and looks an obvious threat. Farmix landed a maiden hurdle at Clonmel last March by 20 lengths then made a successful start over fences at Fairyhouse but was put in his place by a classy bunch, including the winner Energumene, at Naas.
