Verdict
This is not a race that will take much winning and MAGIC SEA is taken to follow up last month’s success at Down Royal. Sarah Dawson's charge won by 15 lengths that day and is probably fortunate to get away with a 10lb rise. Ice Cool is a course and distance winner who will strip fitter for last week’s outing at Naas, which wasn’t without promise, while a bad mistake put paid to Chief Of Police last time at Limerick but he could be interesting here making his handicap debut. The four-year-old showed a bit of potential here last time and makes her handicap debut from a lowly mark. Ontheiflist, once rated 87 on the Flat, has shown little aptitude for jumping hurdles so far but Nobel Joshua is a likely improver for Gordon Elliott.
