Verdict
Despite the huge field this should be the day CALICO finally loses her maiden tag after chasing home Sir Allen on testing ground here on New Year's Eve. Her previous second in an Aintree Listed contest is the stand-out form and Sam Ewing can steer her home. Mighty Mo Missouri showed some ability on the Flat and on just his second start over timber when a close fifth at Leopardstown last month while Metamorpheus ran a superb race for a 100/1 chance when beaten just over two lengths at Limerick on St Stephen's Day. Luminous Light is held by the selection on their recent run here but Brave Troop and Jacovec Cavern both won their last races on the Flat and are newcomers to note.
