Verdict

Happy Lad had a run over hurdles before making all for a comfortable bumper victory at Downpatrick and Derek O'Connor will ensure a strong gallop. REBEL OG can hardly be opposed after a 17l victory on the same track and looks another for Willie Mullins. Soldier At War finished runner-up to Malone Road in a point in March and the winner looked a very smart prospect when landing a Down Royal bumper. Chead Solas attracted support on his debut at Killarney and only just failed to concede 4lb to Kingston Girl with the remainder a long way behind.
