Verdict

Having won a Grade A handicap here in May SCOTSIRISH is in a different league to these rivals but how he takes to the cross country track is another matter. He would have been giving lumps of weight away in a handicap, however, and cannot realistically be opposed. Enda Bolger and JT McNamara are the acknowledged masters at this discipline so it will be interesting to see how Chamirey fares on his first venture over the course but Jacks Island ran poorly on the track in May. Footy Facts has always raced in top company over hurdles and has a couple of chase victories to his credit so this looks a natural progression and he's expected to go well while Baizically and Let The Show Begin are others who make this an interesting contest.
