Final List is penalised for winning a bumper on heavy ground at Tramore. He's looked a bit short of pace over the minimum on good going so today's trip will suit though he could do with some rain. After a narrow defeat over the minimum at Gowran on his hurdling bow, Calicojack couldn't get anywhere near Sinoria over this trip at Down Royal in December but the winner has since won in Listed company so the form looks strong. Henry De Bromhead trains that winner and has two entries here. INSULT (NAP) was staying on strongly behind stable companion Mormon in what looked a decent Tramore maiden on New Year's Day and as that was his first-ever start he can make enough progress to go one better. Rachael Blackmore chooses him over Big Nick and can be rewarded with another victory as Southern Nights has been beaten a long way in his last two bumpers.
