Enda Bolger has won eleven of the last fourteen and both Champagne Platinum and Midnight Maestro will be trained to the minute and the latter won the P.P Hogan over the track and trip in February. However, this is a much stronger renewal with DELTA WORK the obvious selection after his brilliant exploits in the spring. A regular Grade 1 winner over regulation fences, he spoiled the farewell party for Tiger Roll in the Glenfarclas at Cheltenham then ran a superb race in the Grand National behind Noble Yeats. He's rated 157 but Brahma Bull is just 7lb below and receives 5lb. Willie Mullins' charge unseated in the Glenfarclas and pulled up at Aintree but a close third to Galvin in a Grade 3 here a year ago puts him in the frame. Last year's shock Irish National winner Freewheelin Dylan has a fitness advantage and could relish this challenge while Hurricane Darwin loves it here and could hardly be in better shape.
