In depth

Verdict

Denise Foster has won this twice in the past four years so Miles To Memphis, who is 3lb better off for a narrow defeat by Hareth over 2m4f at Navan, is respected though has his first start over this trip. The winner is another yet to tackle this far but Dromore Lad has proved his stamina with a hat-trick, though is now 9lb higher for his latest victory at Fairyhouse. DELTA WORK (NAP) has no problems with the trip and would have finished closer in a Grade B handicap at Leopardstown but for being short of room when mounting a challenge. He's in a couple of Grade 1 contests at Cheltenham and can confirm his trip by carrying top weight to victory here. Eagle Lion has only had two runs over timber, easily landing a maiden hurdle over 2m4f here last month. This is much tougher but he starts out in handicaps on what could prove a lenient mark.
