COOLBAWN LAD didn't show much in bumpers but attracted support on his hurdling debut at Clonmel where he looked a likely winner until a couple of errors cost him momentum. Winning point-to-pointer and bumper Breakeven came here for what looked a strong maiden over 2m4f on his debut over timber and led for a long way. He'll have come on for the experience but Dedanann has now had 13 starts over hurdles without winning and, though he would be a threat as his best, he's become expensive to follow. Meet And Greet has changed stables since a narrow defeat in a Roscommon bumper, though the winner hasn't done much for the form, but All About Joe will find this much less demanding than the Red Mills Series Final he ran in here last time.
