In depth

Verdict

GALOPIN DES CHAMPS was trained to perfection when stepping up to 2m4f and landing the Martin Pipe at Cheltenham and though that's a long way from Grade 1 form he has the scope to go on to much better things over this sort of trip. Vanillier was always travelling like a winner in the Grade 1 Albert Bartlett over this trip at Cheltenham where he had the favourite Stattler 15 lengths back in fourth. That was a massive improvement on his previous start and he's an obvious threat. Telmesomethinggirl also scored at the Festival, landing the Grade 2 Dawn Run in impressive fashion, though she's taking a big step-up in trip. Gentlemansgame started odds-on when only third behind Ashdale Bob and Decimation in a Grade 2 at Fairyhouse but a big run from the latter in the previous race would boost his chances.
