Verdict

Goulane Chosen won three times last year and his holding his form well, despite advancing years. Tudor City doesn’t win often nowadays and is having a first run since December with Western Cowboy having an even longer absence to overcome. Family Business may also need this but Buddy Rich can race off an 18lb lower mark than over fences, though didn’t show much back over the smaller obstacles at Wexford. Hisnameis Mrdevitt has taken a big step forward this year while Bonarc may have found a run at Killarney coming too soon after a win at Kilbeggan but HEARTS ARE TRUMPS is 2lb lower than his last winning mark and Luke Carberry also claims 7lb so Des McDonogh’s course and distance winner has a chance if putting in a clear round.
