In depth

Verdict

Daring Article hadn't shown much for a long time before beating STONEMASTER just over a length over the course and distance earlier this month. The runner-up is 3lb better off and with the much faster conditions in his favour he's expected to reverse the form and take this. Bruff, who finished fifth, was beaten a long way in that event but that was his first start since September and should get much closer on these terms. Big Dano likes quick ground as he showed with a fine run behind Island Peak at Clonmel and he's well enough treated to make his presence felt. Gordon Elliott tries Dont Back Down in blinkers after a poor run at Wexford and he'd have a chance on his earlier victory at Cork.
