Dakota Moirette has had 17 starts over fences without winning. His narrow defeat in a Grade B handicap at Leopardstown in February last year would be good enough for this but he’s had numerous chances subsequently. His stable companion Silver Star makes his debut over fences and though bred for the Flat has managed to win twice over hurdles. YA BOY YA scored over hurdles at Tramore last month and led for a long way on his chasing bow behind Wave Of The Sea at Kilbeggan. He should improve for the experience and gets the nod. The Chapel Field was in excellent form over hurdles at this time last year and should be better for his debut over fences at Kilbeggan.
