Gordon Elliott has a strong hand here with Sam's Choice and DEMANDRIVINGDOUVAN. The former has been unable to get his head in front over hurdles but has come up against some start types while the latter, a winner between the flags and a Thurles bumper, looks the type to be a useful staying novice. Sandor Clegane easily won a bumper here before runner-up to Three Card Brag in a Galway maiden hurdle and the winner has since run well at Grade 3 level. Green Glory is held on that latter run but Silver King will improve for his recent run here.
