Verdict

This is a charity race under Flat Rules with a mixture of entries and a wide range of abilities but BARBADOS is the stand-out performer with an official rating of 104 despite having won just twice on the Flat in 23 starts. Oliver Greenall's Dieu Vivant won a Southwell hunter-chase last month but is hardly likely to have the pace of the selection while Gordon Elliott has acquired three-times Flat winner Amir Kabir from Roger Charlton for jumping. Dual Flat winner Whirling Dervish hasn't been in the best of form over jumps.
