Ballybroker Bridge has won twice over the banks course around here and looks quite well handicapped on his return to regulation fences. Monatomic would have made a winning start over fences at Tramore but for a last-fence fall and has only succumbed on the run-in on his next two starts. He makes his handicap debut with a big weight but is only five and can make further progress. Barna Venture, a winner at Thurles last month, returned there with a good second against a well-handicapped rival last weekend and is on a low enough mark to give another good account. Well Tom is another looking reasonably treated and would have a chance with a clear round though probably wants a bit further as his only victory over fences came over 2m6f. WHATSINTHECORNER (NAP) gave 13lb and a 3l beating to the in-form Seskin Flyer at Thurles and has subsequently raced over hurdles. He's 6lb higher here but gets the nod though Successor, placed behind his subsequent Grade 1 winning stablemate Le Richebourg at Listowel, looks an obvious threat.
