Verdict

Bella Alissa was very green on her debut at Goodwood in August but stayed on nicely once getting the hang of the job, though she's likely to do better with another furlong to travel. She was trained by Peter Chapple-Hyam for that run and the Newmarket-based handler is represented by CLASSICAL TIMES. She made a bright start at Haydock in October then went to Newmarket for a Listed contest a fortnight later and performed well enough to suggest she can reappear with a victory. Excellent Sunset has a fitness advantage with her rivals having returned to action a fortnight ago with a good second at Wolverhampton. Waitomo has a very smart pedigree being the second foal of a mare who produced a Grade 3 winning miler in the USA so she's definitely one to watch.
