Verdict
Three Graces and Audience are two for the shortlist in this Listed race, but we are happy to take a chance on Clive Brittain's Membership, who has been performing well in top class company all season. The selection ran his best race for some time when finishing third behind Trade Fair in a Listed race at Newbury last month. There have been excuses for some of his other below-par efforts this season but Membership was the winner of the Group 3 Jersey Stakes at Ascot back in June so is the one to beat here. Three Graces looks the main danger although he ran too freely in a listed race at Haydock last month, and will need to show improvement to beat our selection, but he looks to be going the right way and is certainly worthy of consideration. Audience is well regarded by Willie Haggas but has been a bit disappointing to follow, and he is another who will have to improve now that he is stepped up in class. An interesting race, but we are happy to side with Membership who is in good form and should take a good deal of beating.
