In depth

Verdict

Sandret made a winning start over 6f at Newcastle in February when suggesting this longer trip would suit but carries a penalty for that success. Bobby Shaft looks a likely improver and is preferred to stablemate and newcomer International Guy while Serengeti Song sets the standard with a mark of 75 and looks best of Karl Burke’s two runners. But PARADISE PAPERS showed promise with a close-up third over today’s distance at Newcastle on last month’s debut and David Barron’s filly may prove the one to side with in this. George Formby made a less impressive debut at Kempton recently but Atalanta's Boy has been gelded since last in action and may do better this year.
