Whozthecat scored in this grade over a longer trip at Thirsk last week but other recent winners Head Space and Disclosure step up in class today. The handicapper has done El Viento no favours raising him 2lb for finishing third at Beverley but Shipyard is worth a second look as he was hampered last time and Aprovado didn't do a lot wrong when bidding for a four-timer at Newcastle. Adam's Ale has his sights lowered but has become difficult to predict and FUNDING DEFICIT makes more appeal. He's had a busy time of it lately but showed there was still plenty in the tank when an unlucky fifth at Ascot two weeks ago and a repeat of that effort would see him go close in this if handling the drop in trip.
