A cavalry charge down the straight course and PAINT SPLASH is preferred to Mohawk Ridge and Lyric Art. David Barron's filly has performed consistently this term without necessarily troubling the judge and at these weights, has a chance of reversing recent course-and-distance form with Royal Premium. Mohawk Ridge was well backed at Musselburgh recently but never travelled at any stage in the context. His yard are in form so it would be folly to write him off just yet. Lyric Art did not appear to perform in a visor last month and that has been removed. Nevertheless, he makes some appeal as he has crept down to 59 from 62 and is therefore eligible to take his chance. Jiggalong did not do a lot wrong at Thirsk in a seller though was picked off readily in the finish. Yashkur makes a handicap debut off a mark of 50 having struggled to show in maidens. Saorocain is a rare Jessica Harrington raider at Redcar while Chichen Daawe wasn't totally disgraced in a Beverley handicap and Off Hand could conceivably give the each-way players a big run at the likely odds. Paint Splash can land the pot.
