Verdict

LE BAYOU finally looks set to take advantage of a tumble down the weights having been beaten only a neck when third at Doncaster. Regal Mirage and Walkonby return to action though are not badly treated on last season’s winning form while the less exposed Whitwell is having only his second start in a handicap on his reappearance. Briardale has placed over hurdles recently but Whatwouldyouknow has plenty to find with the selection.
