Verdict
Lady Lily gets the confident nomination in this handicap and she can get her head in front at the main expense of Baltimore Jack and Charlie Tipple. This 3-year-old filly from the Henry Cecil yard wasn't beaten far behind Fathom Five at Newmarket last time, but this extra furlong and quicker ground will play to her strengths today and she should have too much class for her rivals in this company. Baltimore Jack was disappointing in a competitive handicap at Ascot last time but he had won well previously at Ayr and a reproduction of that effort would make him competitive. Charlie Tipple has been in good form but he struggled under a penalty at York last time and although he has won on fast ground, he is probably better under more testing conditions. Zanida has shown flashes of form but she is hard to recommend with any confidence, all of which returns us to Lady Lily as our confident choice.
