Mount King has placed the last twice over similar trips and he would handle any further rain but Chris Fairhurst’s filly VIXEY has run two solid races in defeat in handicaps this year and can finally get her head in front back in a maiden. Evening Story made the frame three times on the all-weather last year but makes his Turf debut after a seven-month break and Sidney's Son was more convincing over 6f here in June. Vale Dolobo Dancer needs more but Teddy's Dawn could be an interesting newcomer.
