Saucy Buck flew home at Lingfield and remains nicely treated, particularly on his Zebedee form, but perhaps the horse needs six furlongs so we'll keep opposing him for now. Empress Royal's form is working out and she was well backed ahead of her debut to suggest that she shows something at home, all of which combines to make her interesting of a lowly mark for this handicap debut. Indeed there are several horses here making their first starts in handicap company and the market needs checking; Je Suis Un Rockstar attracted each-way support before being withdrawn at Kempton, Pitkin gained his mark by contesting strong York maidens while Needwood Lad ran well here last time and has a speedy pedigree. However, our vote goes to one to have shown his hand in a handicap already in the shape of BRAVE TIGER. Stuart Williams' horse showed abundant speed in making just about all at Kempton, landing a touch in the process, and he may be primed to go in again under a mandatory penalty providing he can translate that to turf.
