Verdict
ZLATAN hasn’t raced off a mark this low in almost six years. He is still capable on his day and it would be no surprise to see him in the firing-line in a race like this. Royal Prospect has won twice at Carlisle this year but Old News has been on the go for a while and seems best at Newcastle nowadays. Simulation Theory looks vulnerable in this higher grade while Russian Virtue has been racing over longer trips. Bold Territories is on a hat-trick but both victories have come on Tapeta and he’s not managed a place on Turf in seven attempts.
