Verdict
A potentially tricky handicap where we suggest Authenticate to be too good for Sam's Secret, Robinzal and Tyrone Sam. The selection had been running well over this trip at both Warwick and Catterick until coming unstuck, albeit not by more than a couple of lengths, over a mile last time. The drop back in trip will help, the going suits, and Jamie Spencer can get him home in front. Sam's Secret is a likeable type who comes into this in decent form from similarly minor events. His recent defeat was by no means a disgrace and if he runs up to that level of form off top weight here then he will be involved. Robinzal comes here after a break, having won last time at Catterick in June. He will have to raise his game a little to win, but the frame beckons, while Tyrone Sam's most recent effort at Hamilton would give him a sniff if he as effective back over seven furlongs. But Authenticate has a fair bit in his favour and is our recommendation here.
