Whatever Serena Brotherton is riding is always the first port of call in these races and she was on board when Whitwell gained his only success from exactly the same mark at Ripon in June last year. Bearwith won here in July and at Ripon a month later then didn't get the clearest of runs at Beverley while SHE'S GOT BOTTLE made all for a double on the latter track before beaten when a short-priced favourite at Newcastle. Roger Fell's filly didn't get the best of runs that day and the experienced Amy Collier will give her a good ride. Brodie Hampson was on board when Menin Gate gained his latest victory over the course and distance two years ago and her mount has dropped to a winnable mark while Bigbadboy was returning from a year off when placed on soft ground at Thirsk.
