Verdict

Tim Easterby has won three of the last five renewals so Bollin Greta, the winner in 2008, is the first point of call and she is only a pound higher than for her last two successes and should go well. There are numerous alternatives in the line-up though with Chookie Hamilton and Tobernea doing battle again after their tussle at Musselburgh, wide margin Catterick winner Drop The Hammer looking to strike whilst the iron is hot and Saute proving his effectiveness on turf with a game win at Newbury where he had the well backed Petella seven lengths behind. Finellas Fortune could go well back on a sound surface but SIMPLE JIM may be the one to be with as he has never finished out of the frame in five visits here; he is holding his form well and is now a pound below his last winning mark.
