In depth
Verdict
Rusumaat put a moderate debut behind him with a much better run at Doncaster. The extra furlong won't be a problem though the ground will be much quicker. Breaking Free finished around five lengths behind on Town Moor but stayed on nicely once getting the hang of the job and is no forlorn hope to turn the tables. Richard Fahey saddles the newcomers DALTON and Yorkshire Bounty and it's the former who is the interesting one here as he cost £150,000 as a yearling and is the eleventh foal of a mare who has produced winners with all ten of her offspring to run including the useful pair Penitent and Supplicant. He's taken to make a successful debut though Jamacho is another expensive purchase who should have speed to burn.
