Verdict

Keep It Dark was handed a 9lb rise for his Catterick victory and couldn't cope in better company at Thirsk on Saturday. Jack Luey won this a year ago from just 3lb lower but the ground was on the soft side and he could do with some rain. BONDI BEACH BOY was in superb form last season, winning seven races. He finished a close third at Beverley in September when Singeur was just in front of him but can gain his revenge on today's terms and land his eighth success. Another Wise Kid has to come into the reckoning as he beat Singeur at Pontefract last July, though he was receiving 6lb and will be giving weight away this time.
