In depth

Verdict

Truth In Jest returned a surprise 40/1 winner at Thirsk last time. He beat a previous dual winner on that occasion but collateral form brings Portelet Bay into the equation. ELLA JO showed plenty of pace when placing in maiden company the last twice and, having finished in front of a disappointing Sacristy when third at Catterick last time, Karl Burke’s filly gets the vote. The 7f winner Hope Probe races over today’s trip for the first time and is preferred to Naughty Ana of the rest.
