        Verdict

        Tourtiere won easily over 1m4f at Ripon last time but is upped 9lb while Serenity Now scored over hurdles last month but his only win so far on the Flat came on the Fibresand at Southwell. Midnight Warrior is preferred having won over track and trip off a 3lb lower mark in May but Bowdler's Magic has been well beaten despite finishing in a place on his last couple of starts. TROPICAL BACHELOR went close at Doncaster recently on only his second start for Ruth Carr. Upped in trip off the same mark here, he gets the vote to come out best.
