    Verdict

Princess Nearco hasn't raced over a trip this far and was withdrawn from Carlisle last week due to heavy ground so wouldn't want any more rain. Royal Headley has had the requisite three maiden runs for a mark, all over shorter trips on fast ground, and though the veteran Harvey's Hope has a course and distance victory to his credit it was two years ago. STANARLEY PIC made most and battled back when headed to score over the track and trip last month for which he's been raised 5lb. This is no tougher, though he's another who wouldn't be suited by heavy going. Jan De Heem was beaten 11l lengths in that latter event and looks held but Parkwarden may be capable of better despite running poorly over timber recently.
