Verdict

An open handicap in which narrow preference is for Let It Be ahead of Double Banded and Danzatrice. The selection is one of several course and distance winners in the lineup but he comes here in very good form having only gone down narrowly last time out. Whilst he is now on a mark of 60, he has won off 63 before and due to go up 3lbs in the future he looks to be fairly treated today. He acts on any ground but is best on quicker going so as long as it doesn't rain cats and dogs, he looks sure to give punters a good run for their money. Double Banded was an easy winner over course and distance two starts back and wasn't helped when last seen at Wolverhampton by starting slowly. Assuming he avoids that trait today, he should go well despite now being 9lbs above his highest winning mark. Danzatrice stays well and was doing all his best work at the finish when dropped in trip last time; a return to this trip looks sure to suit. Zefooha ran well in defeat last time and should go well if building on that, whilst Just Waz is out of form at present but would have claims on his best form. Mighty Moon needs more help from the handicapper before we are likely to see him winning, whilst Dium Mac has now slipped to a fair mark and is one to watch in the betting. An open race, but Let It Be comes here in form and is fancied to oblige.
