    Verdict

INSANIA burst clear of the opposition in the closing stages over the minimum trip at Thirsk last time and this extra distance should not be a problem on that evidence. Karl Burke’s filly can defy a penalty. Knightcap also ran well at Thirsk on her earlier debut only to disappoint at Beverley and the remainder with experience are harder to recommend. Of the newcomers, Don Ramiro, Great Aspirations and Pearlwood represent powerful northern yards with the former a half-brother to a winning sprinter and preferred.
