    Verdict

    PATCHWORK showed a big improvement when second at Goodwood earlier in the month. Clear of the rest on that occasion, this extra distance should suit and he’s preferred to Southwell third Eddiebet and Nuncio, runner-up on the all-weather at the end of last year. Shudbeme has shown nothing so far but Yaarmen is a newcomer to note for the Haggas yard.
